A pattern that is almost identical to this one is called Jamie's Quilt, in the book Loose Change, from That Patchwork Place. The only difference between that pattern and this one (from what I can tell from the pictures) is that the one in the book has the on point square that interlocks with the straight square pieced from triangles. It would be really easy to convert it to one pieced strip, I think. Hope this helps.

I also like to look at a picture and then sit down and "try" to draw my own templates. Some times that is more fun than actually making a quilt block!
