A pattern that is almost identical to this one is called Jamie's Quilt, in the book Loose Change, from That Patchwork Place. The only difference between that pattern and this one (from what I can tell from the pictures) is that the one in the book has the on point square that interlocks with the straight square pieced from triangles. It would be really easy to convert it to one pieced strip, I think. Hope this helps.

Beautiful! Amazing what a difference the fabrics and placements can make. Hopefully you will put them together into a sampler quilt as this would be a gorgeous keepsake.

I like the country one which could also be good to use for Christmas in red geen and white.

i like the christmas idea......hmmm......if you use graph paper [i make my own] just make an 8X8 square & draw a line where ever you see a triangle/color change & if you want to go further, color it in! JUST BE SURE to split/sew on your triangles the right way! it really is simple!

I also like to look at a picture and then sit down and "try" to draw my own templates. Some times that is more fun than actually making a quilt block!

I really like this pattern. It never ceases to amaze me how different the same pattern can look because of different fabric.
