Great first quilt!! Great corners. Take care of yourself and that sweet baby. If you're on bed rest, you can take the time to "quilt by reading." I'm not a sleeper, so when I'm too pooped to sew, I quilt by going through my books and magazines. That helps to work out things in my head before actually tackling them with cloth, etc. Good luck.

Wendi ~ You did a terrific job on quilt # 1. Don't be so hard on yourself! your baby will love it. Is it flannel? looks very soft and cuddly. You mentioned "fab-liques" that you got at Joanns? Never heard of them , but I plan to check them out. See, even NEW quilters like yourself can be a great resource to us OLD quilters like myself.
