Aren't you resourceful???? Your quilt is beautiful!

Love it but what is bow tucks?

kkbrand 08-05-2010 05:03 AM

Ok I love this idea, this is great! Thanks for sharing. I have made roughly 8 bow tucks so I could easily start saving some of those scraps. How big did you cut your squares for the 9 patch blocks?

mathteacher 08-05-2010 05:14 AM

That's a great looking quilt! If you could find a teal and brown print, that would make a nice border. I'm always amazed at the results when combining two simple block patterns! Thanks for the idea for these 2!

A Bow Tucks is a totebag. Here's a couple that I made. Lots of other board members have made them too. They are so much fun!

It's Gorgeous! How about matching colors Poka Dot Border?

MaryAnna 08-05-2010 03:13 PM

Just gorgeous! How about a thin pink inner border and a brown (hourglass block brown) as the outter border?
Kind Regards,
MaryAnna

Terrific Idea....... and oh so pretty

Annz 08-05-2010 05:19 PM

Looks great. If it is for a male I would go with a brown that I think I see in the quilt and if it is for a female I would use a dark pink that is in the quilt.

Quilter2B 08-05-2010 07:40 PM
