She is very loving and has adopted me and my family, despite the fact that I have two super wonderful parents already. She was recently in the hospital and although I didn't finish the quilt in time, when I did give it to her she cried. And I found out that she refuses to use it and is instead going to hang it on her wall. I didn't know what pattern to pick when first deciding on making her quilt, but I knew it had to be colorful. She loves blues and purples and always has sequins and other shiny things on her outfits. Luckily I was able to use my stash of batiks, with the exception of the backing material.
