Thanks everyone, I really love it and it's very warm. I lost my daughter about a month ago and I've been going through a very tuff time, not wanting to go out or anything. We went to our Grandson's 1st birthday party and left early, so I wanted to stop at Goodwill for some reason and guess this was it.

It is nice the quilt found a new home and the work of the maker will be appreciated. If you learn more about the fabrics that date the quilt, let us know. Enjoy staying warm under your new to you quilt.

The intensive quilting and the unfamiliar fabric patterns make me wonder if it is a Kantha quilt. Especially that black and white print in the second picture looks Asian. At any rate, a great deal and it will keep you warm.

Thanks ladies, I'm so glad to have found it.

Some things are just meant to be. Glad this lovely find was able to brighten your day. My sincere sympathy on the loss of your daughter. Give yourself time to grieve but know that we are all pulling for you. Also know that quilting is great therapy for some of us, and concentrating on something for others takes us to a happier place.

What a treasured find … lucky you! Whoever donated it didn't know what they had … there are "hours/weeks" of love in that quilt!
