Quilt Granddaughter
 

My grand daughter wanted a bright quilt, but not "tacky". I hope I hit her mark.

It's lovely! But what does "tacky" mean..... That would have made me nervous.

Yes Lynnie it is Laurel birch. I can't remember if I got it at the Paducah show or Houston show.

I didn't use a pattern. Just decided what size I wanted, did a little figuring and presto!

No matter what her age, I think she will love this - not too bright - and no way tacky!

this is absolutely perfect..I think "tacky" means as my son called one charity quilt..".it's nice, but it's
"OLD SCHOOL". I didn't need him to explain that one...simple is what many children want today and bright..
you did both...

This same fabric line also has butterflies in the same bright colors. You can't go wrong with Laurel Burch, IMHO. :thumbup: :thumbup: That's one gorgeous quilt! It will be loved!
