Since it was such a small quilt (20 inches square), I didn't bother to close the pins.

I would like to thank you for all your comments. Someone suggested I might do some crosshatching quilting for the wall which I did and it looks great. I also added another book and a "manilla" folder that reads freshman orientation so that should take care of showing she is in college.

Found out last night that the quilt has to be at least 30 inches square! So now have decided to add borders which will make it appear as though she is being viewed through the window! I will post pictures after I have that accomplished. Since I have already quilted the piece, I am going to attempt my first QAYG for the borders and then attach them! Wish me luck!
