Quilt I was asked to make for a friend to give as Christmas Presents

Hi, a lady from church commissioned me to make 3 quilts the same for her to give her 3 grandsons for Christmas. Eveything on the main panel has a Scriptural meaning, which I won't go into here. But, I'm really pleased with how they turned out and I really enjoyed making them. I'm posting a picture of just one of them but they each have the individual child's name on the boat.

You made a wonderful quilt! I guess I should have said quilts. Great for boys. Was this your design or one picked by the lady or one you found that you both agreed upon? I like the clean lines and the terrific fabrics you chose.

oh my..I really like this quilt and you did such a wonderful job. I would like to make it. Did you create the pattern or is it available for purchase? Please let me know because I have a piece of material in my stash that would be perfect with this quilt.

Hi..and thank you. No, it's not a bought design. She kind of had a rough idea of what she wanted and we googled for ideas and then picked a bit of this and a bit of that and then I put it to paper and worked from that.

Hi Dray...thanks. No, it's not bought. Between the two of us, we came up with the design. She had a rough idea of what she wanted but we had to fine tune it and googled for ideas. I then put it on graph paper and then worked from that.

Thank you...the lady I made then quilts for has a scriptural reference for the whole centre panel, including the stars and anchors :)
