This was a very special job to create this keepsake and I'm sure the parents will cherish it forever. It seems to represent the sweetness of the baby so well. It's just lovely.

cheryl rearick 03-23-2011 09:53 PM

That is totally beautiful. The memories this family will always have because of your kindness can never be bought by a $$$$. When My daughter lost her son. She bought a small square box and everything special went into the box. Every so often she will bring out her box of memories to hold close. Memory is all that is left when our little ones are taken so young. So few memories that you want and need to capture all of it and never let go. ((((hugs)))

sewbizgirl 03-24-2011 08:15 AM

I don't know how families can want quilts out of their children's clothing. I know we are all different, but it would just rip my heart out, every time I looked at it! Even hearing of this 18-month old's death and seeing this lovely job you did on her quilt made me cry.

Keeps Them In Stitches 03-24-2011 08:17 AM

You did a wonderful job. I can feel the love pouring out from the quilt. I truely think it will give her parents great comfort.
