I made this from Karen Coombs Quilts of Illusion pattern. It was all hand pieced except for the border (silly aren't I :mrgreen: ) I have to have a hand sewing project while the kids do their various after school activities.
I went together really quickly and I love the effect. It will be a wallhanging for my son's room.
I would like to play with more of her techniqes, this one was fun.
Now just to quilt it :D

This is fantastic - I have just bought myself her book with these blocks and Christmas blocks incorporated and the rulers. Cannot wait for them to arrive.

It is wonderful. They are so fun. The results are so wonderful especially with the fabrics you chose. Karen Comb's book is so full of information and such inspiring quilts.
