This is an especially lovely quilt. For quilting, it would be interesting to vary the quilting between the white and colored blocks. For example, outline close to the flower and stem, then stiple on the white blocks; and echo the flower, but do another fill, like leaves, on the colored blocks where there is no stem. Then I would stitch a diamond within the diamond on the border. I wish this one would be in our quilt auction next fall, so I could buy it! Good luck.

That was my first thought. Whatever you do -- it will be just beautiful!

Loved reading all the ideas on how to quilt this, I also enjoyed looking to see what state or country everyone was from. Thank you for the many compliments and ideas.

What if you meandered everywhere but the flowers? Maybe a simple echo in the flowers themselves. This is a pretty quilt!!! I think anything you chose to do will work with it

Very nice, how about some echo quilting in opposite colours. Blue thread on white background, and white thread on blue background etc.

Great job. It looks appliqued and hard.

Love your quilt. What is the pattern and where did you get it. Please are the borders in the pattern or did you see them somewhere else?
