Quilt inspector and turquoise and white Carpenter's Star
 

I kept trying to take a picture of the quilt I just finished, but Hot Rod, world's most persistent quilt inspector, just wasn't going for it...even when I tried to distract him with his orange mouse toy.

Still, here is my newest quilt. It is a Carpenter's Star pattern, and I am quite pleased with it. I am not always pleased with a finished product, so it feels good when I am. :)

Yes, even though I threw the mouse across the room to distract him, he was too quick for me. I finally gave up and decided that he won. Hot Rod simply likes to get in the picture. :)

Very nice - this one is on my to-do list. I like the looks of the carpenter's star. It gives lots of nice quilting space!!

Ah! What a good memory you have!! Yes, it was out of my comfort zone. HSTs are pretty new to me and I usually quilt in purple. You are amazing, Irishrose!! (My next quilt is purple and white....no surprise, huh? I can't stay away from purple too long, and this one has cats. Hot Rod will like it.)

In fact, I have a small quilt like the one I am making. I will add that picture. This small quilt turned out so cute that I just had to make a large one.
