That is one georgeous pattern, wonderful job, beautiful colours, congratulations on a spectacular quilt. :-D

Oh wow Sylvia - this is stunning! I have the book I bought at a quilt show but haven't made anything from it yet. Did you use gradient fabrics?

PamQuilts 03-02-2010 06:07 AM

That is gorgeous! I've seen that pattern but I've never seen one made. Thank you for sharing!

Ilovemydogs 03-02-2010 08:29 AM

wow!!!

sylvia77 03-02-2010 09:48 AM

You could but I didn't. I used fabrics from shades, which is hand dyed and shaded from light to dark.

quilterguy27 03-02-2010 12:49 PM

I love this quilt. I've always wanted to make one. I've got the pattern and am collecting fabric. I first saw this pattern in the opening credits of Simply Quilts with Alex Anderson. One day when I get all the fabric I will try and make this one. Thanks for sharing.

That is one of most gorgenous quilts I've seen. Is the pattern from a book called 'logcabin with a twist'? I'd love to give it a try.

No Way! That is awesome... I like it better than a bargello quilt.. I love the "stars", flowers or what ever they are... That's just an awesome quilt.

That is drop dead gorgeous. Is it heavy with all those seams! I love paper-piecing because it's so accurate, and you're obviously a master.
