Quilt for MIL

I am blessed with a really special mother-in-law. We had a birthday party for her the other day and I gave her this quilt. I am still a beginner really and like kits. I chose this kit because her living room is all blues and whites. I quilted it on my domestic Juki and used a Flynn Quilting Frame.

You are going to be asked a lot about the Flynn Quilting System. Do you like it, have you had much practice using it and what is the most difficult thing about using the system? Also what do you like about it???? I am very curious! peace |

Thank you. I think it was a connecting threads kit. I just searched their website and don't see it offered now. Regarding the Flynn frame, I like it. Previous to this quilt I did free motion quilting without a frame that killed my neck so bad I was out of commision for two weeks. So I bought the frame. My husband made longer poles because the one that comes in the box are very short. The frame holds all the weight of the quilt, so no more neck problems. You can't quilt very large areas at once, but I don't think one would expect to with a domestic machine. The frame holds the quilt taut as it comes with ribbons to pin on each end. I did a meandering pattern, I am still new at that and broke a few needles. I slowed down and then it all worked better. Thanks for the encouragement!
