Quilt from "Modern Patchwork Quilting" book
 

I made this quilt top (not finished and I have post its all over) - from the Modern Patchwork book - its different but I am really liking the tangerine/turqouise/brown theme - but definitely different - I am a little out of my comfort zone but I am liking it - its fun trying something new.

It's gorgeous and the colors really pop.

Beautiful, always good to get out of the comfort zone. My 24 YO Granddaughter has picked colors for several quilts that was not my choice. They turned out very well.

It's good to get out of your comfort zone now and again. It opens up new horizons! This quilt top is wonderfully pieced and the colors and prints are just plain eye candy!

Nice! I just finished a top with that same pattern using olives, corals, pinks and browns.

The book is called, "The Practical Guide to Patchwork" the author is Elizabeth Hartman. The pattern is called "Kitchen Window" she has a blog called: www.ohfransson.com - thanks everyone for the replies.

Very nice quilt. I think we should all step out of our comfort zone sometimes and take on something we think is hard to do . The next project we take on won't be as scary. lol

I reallyyyyyyyyyyyy like this quilt! I am not usually an orangy / browns kind of person, but with the blue... It not only blends together so well, it really pops and is the perfect eye candy.... Well Done!
