I agree--put it up and give it to your son for his first child. My daughter was not lucky enough to have a hand made quilt but did have a blanket and "tiger" she loved. I put them up (and they were very well loved by the time she put them aside) and when she was expecting her first child and had a baby shower that was her gift from her Mom. Of course she did get a rocking chair along with that. But the blanket and "tiger" was her most special gift--she cried and I did too.

what a great quilt. i would definitely put it away for him. it is absolutely adorable. my oldest grandson was nuts for poke mon. you did an excellent job. did you have a pattern to go by?

My mother in law did not have a pattern. She just free handed it all and went on her own visions in her mind. That is what I mean by she can sew or make anything.

That is a very nice quilt! She did a wonderful job on it! I agree, store it and give it back to him on his wedding day! :)
