Quilt for my Air Force Veteran Son

1 Attachment(s)
This pattern is from Primitive Quilts Magazine, summer 2013 edition. My son served in the gulf war and now suffers from medical issues as a result. I'm proud of his service. When he saw me working on this, he claimed it and I was glad for him to have it.

Bless your dear son. Freedom comes at such a high cost! Please convey my gratitude. Thank you for making him such a beautiful quilt.

This is a really wonderful, warm-feeling quilt for your brave, self-sacrificing vet. I am grateful for his service and regret his high payment for it. Please let him know he is prayed for.

It's beautiful and thank him for his service. Their fighting doesn't just stop at the war front. Sad to say they(and with their families help) have to continue fighting for their dues back home. God bless and sending prayers from the Gulf for speedy assistance in his recovery!

Kooklabell 09-06-2014 08:29 AM

As a military mom myself, I've wanted to make my son a quilt with the Marines logo, but I haven't found one I'm in love with yet.....still searching. This quilt is beautiful. I love, love, love the colors and the quilting is awesome! My son served during Operation Iraqi Freedom and thankfully came home safely! Those were some very long months while he was away! Please tell you son THANKS for his service and for the many sacrifices he made in order to do so. This proud American will not forget! <3

granny64 09-07-2014 04:21 AM

Thank him for his service and his sacrifices to keep us free.

coopah 09-07-2014 04:28 AM

Thank your son for his service. The cost is so high for the families that have service members. I lived it for 20+ years, but it was in a more peaceful time. That quilt will be a comfort for your son.
