Awwww it is a lovely quilt and the extra blocks will be just right for another quilt for sure....good start for a scrappy or baby quilt.....:-)

Don't know what I am going to do with the left over 2.5" white squares... You could use Bonnies "leaders and enders" technique to make 4 patches. http://quiltville.com/leadersenders.shtml |
Oh gosh--it's so pretty!! A child of any age would have a blast looking at all that's there--and identifying colors. It looks like fun!!
I'm sorry you had so much trouble--how frustrating. It's beautiful though. :D |
It's very pretty despite the problems it gave you!
|
Sorry, but I too think it's an awesome quilt! :-)
I would use the left over white squares and make a border with those and the brights. And if you really still don't like it, what a wonderful gift to a charity. :-) |
I'm sorry you had so many problems with it, because it's very pretty.

I feel your pain. I've had quilts give me grief. It turned out great & colorful. You'll find a home for it. And they'll love it!!

Sorry this one was a bugger, but it turned out nice anyway!!

When all else fails, take the top and cut it in 3 inch strips, then randomly sew it back together and see what you have. It is fun and less stressful. I have done this before (with an 1/8th inch seam) and was very happy with the turnout. Very "Outside the Box" and interesting. If you really don't like it, give it a try. You will be the only one with that quilt once you are done. GiGi
