This is the second year I have made a quilt to raffle for our local humane society. Last year we made right at $300, this year I am hoping we can top $500! ALL the money goes to the spay and neuter programs. I made the decision a few years ago to pick a cause I am passionate about and support to the best of my ability. I want all animals to be wanted! So this is my cause. I made the pattern up. Hope you like it!

Nice job on the quilt! It should really help your fundraising. Hopefully you have more than 1 week to sell tickets. Try to see if you can sell tickets at your local farmers market or other town gathering to spread the word about your fundraiser. Our Local Quilt Guild sells tickets for a year for the guild fundraiser "Opportunity" Quilt. We made almost $18,000 by taking the time to go to all guild meetings throughout California. Also feline fanatic, the applique is the National symbol for the Humane Society. Our branch out here in California uses it as well. Good luck! |
