Went to a quilt show (will post pics of that later) bought some goodies for myself while there
Saw this quilt and loved it so I bought the pattern. |

Yes I did have fun lol. Was on my birthday weekend and I think I controlled myself rather well. Couple days later I hit up JoAnns with my coupons and got some other fabrics.

I just love that black fabric with the pink or green pattern. Any idea what it is called or who makes it? I think I need to find some of that. Not sure what for, but it is sure calling my name.

I love that butterfly pattern so much I bought two (by mistake - and yes I did return one). It's on my list of to-do's. Also like your teacup fabric.

I just finished the HANGING GARDENS quilt top. I used tea dyed muslin for the background and my stash of batiks for the blocks.
You are going to LOVE it. The blocks go together fast. I always have problems with on point settings and this was no exception but you'll be delighted with the top when it is finsihed. |

I love the quilts I done the Butterfly from a free pattern that I got at WalMarts it had a different name but the same pattern our W/Ms have free patterns with the suggested fabrics for each months new pattern and you don't have to buy their fabric if you don't like it but I use a lot of their fabrics and notions are 1/2 the price of the fabric stores and every penny counts since retiring
