I love the four patch posie technique. I have several, they are addicting! You will look at fabric differently now. great job!

Margie It's where you take a fabric that has a busy pattern to it, then cut wedges or shapes out of it in exactly the same place on the fabric, then put them together. So you stack fabrics that have the same pattern on them, then cut them. Check out the book, it might be easier to see from there. |
W O W ! Beautiful! Love each block and the design movement it gives. You did a great job!
That is really pretty can you explain how that is done?

What do I think? Gorgeous!!! I've been dying to do that technique but it won't be for quite a while yet - too many irons in the fire.
GORGEOUS!!!
That is so tropical and fun looking. I love your kaleidoscope patterning - very striking.
that is fabulous!!! great pics too, very clear. helps others who want to make this quilt see the beauty of fabric.
strips cut and squares cut from those. very easy to do.no wedges, just squares. |
It's beautiful. I love the bright colors. It is similar to a Stack and Whack but uses only four layers of fabric. I used to teach Stack and Whack at the quilt shop I worked at.
I love it

Great top - is the fabric Gerbera Garden by Michael Miller?
OOOHHHHH! Very pretty. I love the colors! The finished product will be beautiful!

That's beautiful! Now, tell us where you got the fabric at & how you made that gorgeous creation! Please??

So pretty, it reminds me of a kaleidoscope!
Fun blocks! I love that you used the yellow to make it pop!
Love your quilt. Was it done with the mirror method?
No I stacked 4 repeats of the fabric and then cut blocks. Then when I took a stack of 4 they are cut all the same. Then you turn then to what you like keeping the blocks rotated the same way. Thanks for asking
Gorgeous! I like the way you placed the design of your fabric. Bright is my favorite.

I love this. I have the same fabric (Michael Miller - Gerbera Garden) and did a large block quilt, but a fellow quilter had told me it would be a great four-patch posie...and since I still have 2 yards...I'm really glad to see it made up. Thanks so much for sharing. Beautiful!!
Very nice fussy cutting! Love the colors.
wow how pretty, how big where these blocks before you cut them and rearranged
