What a beautiful quillt. I've never seen a Trip Around the World in red, white, and blue--I love it . "Your" vet will be so moved and comforted and honored by your sacrificial gift.

Someone is going to love it. I know that the gal in CO who both makes, collects from others, and distributes in her area does allow the vets (both male and female) to choose from the batch she brings to them.

Thank you for remembering our service men. They come back often with physical problems as well as with mental and emotional issues. My son has been out the service several years and is just now appearing somewhat normal after dealing with PTSD. Unfortunately, PTSD is never "cured". It strikes at unexpected times.

Dina[/QUOT I'm a Quilt of Valor (QOVF) Foundation member and from what I've seen sometimes the veterans get to choose the quilt they like best and other times they are handed out by the group coordinator or another QOVF member. Love, love this quilt. We have Hero Day nad donate quilts locally to a 3 county area. We pull in names from these counties because our guild members are from these counties.
