you have a better nerve system than i do. i don't think i could do that.Make it your own cool work

CoriAmD 06-26-2010 04:47 PM

Well..... I would just say "I meant to do it that way" and be proud of it. It's beautiful!

CarrieAnne 06-26-2010 04:48 PM

Wow, it turned out AWESOME!

Lynnejean 06-26-2010 04:49 PM

I wish that you knew for sure what you did "wrong" because I love the effect you have produced and would like to do one like it.

annieshane 06-26-2010 04:59 PM

Good for you and your fantastic attitude. No one would have known you made a "mistake". Just looks like a great but complicated pattern.

Good going!

stitchin 06-26-2010 06:10 PM

You had a design opportunity! Great!

judithb 06-26-2010 06:32 PM

This is really cool, just a "redesign" not a mistake. Mistakes end up in the trash!

theifner 06-26-2010 07:25 PM

I love the spinning motion

amorerm 06-26-2010 07:44 PM

It's wonderful.

kd124 06-26-2010 11:20 PM

Justquilting 06-27-2010 04:09 AM

Looks great!

ewhughe1 06-27-2010 04:15 AM

Way to go Quilter. No UFO's for you! I know it is hard. My "attempt" is still waiting until I retire!

ewhughe1 06-27-2010 04:17 AM

Love, Love your kitty watching your every move! Are you sure YOU are the quilter?

GladGrams 06-27-2010 08:50 AM

Fantastic, your butt will never be the same after that treasure! :)

KarenBarnes 06-27-2010 01:46 PM

I did the same thing! That portion of the quilt is still on the shelf waiting to be created into another project! I had to start over and cut/sew new points! I learned a lot by doing that quilt as my first "pieced" quilt!

betlinsmom 06-27-2010 05:43 PM

Now, WHY dont my bloopers turn out so wonderful??!!!!

auntiehenno 06-27-2010 07:34 PM

Looks lovely to me!!

Annz 06-27-2010 09:43 PM

Good job on not giving up on it.

DollyRose 06-28-2010 09:16 AM

I like it, reminds me of one of those big round saw blades from a saw mill... spinning!

MadQuilter 06-28-2010 09:24 AM

OK -if you can finish yours, I can finish mine. Nice recovery! Hope I can fix mine as nicely. This (as I found out too late) is not a project for a beginner - lol.

jamh 06-28-2010 09:32 AM

i agree with you on that!

Very nice.

wraez 06-28-2010 02:26 PM

You are more adventurous than I am, I wouldn't have even started it! Too many pieces and points for me, I'm a whimp, I like easy peasy quilts.

Be proud brave lady, you did it!

warm quilt hugs, sue in CA

QuiltingB 06-28-2010 04:44 PM

I like the spiraling effect. Nicely done, even if you got whipped.

quilthappygail 06-28-2010 04:47 PM

You think you made a mistake but no mistake turns out that beautiful.
You did a fab job. You can be very proud.

JACRN 07-02-2010 01:24 PM

Rusty's Mama 07-04-2010 11:28 AM

I love it - it is like looking through a kaleidoscope!

sahm4605 07-04-2010 12:23 PM
