I have been making a few quilted baskets for presents. I'm so happy that people just love them and they're so handy for all sorts of nick-nacks :)
Thanks for looking :D

I love those... sew cute!

quiltsRfun 05-16-2018 03:52 PM

Those are really cute and thoughtful gifts. I like your idea of including a little something with the basket. It would be nice to have a few on hand for hostess gifts. Can you share where you got the pattern?

nativetexan 05-16-2018 03:54 PM

how do you do your inside seams? i always had large ones there, folded them to the sides. but still there!

Maureen NJ 05-16-2018 04:44 PM

Very nice!

gingerd 05-16-2018 04:47 PM

I too love making these. I've filled them with cards that I've made and give them as gifts that way.

SusieQOH 05-16-2018 04:51 PM

They are adorable. I made some a couple of years ago and they were a big hit. I can't remember where I got the pattern. Maybe Youtube?

On QB there is a page, dates back to 2013 and it's called "Fabric Boxes with French seams tutorial"
This is another one but I think it hasn't got the french seams
Good luck !!!

Where might I find this pattern for the quilted baskets? Are they fairly easy? They are beautiful and so versatile.

Macybaby 05-17-2018 04:51 AM

Innov8R 05-17-2018 05:39 AM

lynnie 05-17-2018 07:33 AM

oooh, please send me one!!! I love them

Jordan 05-17-2018 09:51 AM

Your baskets are so cute and I love the way you dressed them up with goodies inside. That would be a nice Christmas gift for neighbors and friends filled with baked goods inside. Thanks for sharing.

JuneBillie 05-17-2018 10:01 AM

I am like Lynnie, I want one too. Are they difficult to make? I would like to make some for Christmas, and fix them up with goodies in them like you have shown with the cellophane around them. So pretty.

Boston1954 05-17-2018 10:20 AM

Absolutely gorgeous! Wish I had that talent. I am thinking Halloween, St. Patrick's Day, Valentine's.....

sJens 05-17-2018 03:32 PM

Your boxes are super cute and will make great gifts.

Bjbaxter 05-17-2018 04:07 PM

Your' are really cute and elegant. I like to make them also, and usually for gifts for secret sisters, or as a way to make a gift even nicer.

ccthomas 05-17-2018 04:25 PM

nena 05-17-2018 05:32 PM

No June, they're quite easy to make and yes, they make lovely gifts and I would love to send more overseas to my friends there but postage has gotten sooooo expensive here in Australia, you just can't afford to send anything anymore. I sent a friend one of my shopping bags, was only 187 grams and cost me $21 to send :( Our last CEO from the Post Dept. was getting over $4 millions wages a year, no wonder they had to put up the postage costs
But this is the link to make them https://www.quiltingboard.com/tutori...l-t235889.html
Have fun!!! And I'm looking forward to see all the ones you made for Christmas gift <3

Barbara Lee 05-18-2018 08:07 AM

May I ask where the pattern is. I don't really care about selvage.

solstice3 05-18-2018 05:24 PM

I need to try that. Very nice

Rhonda K 05-18-2018 05:27 PM

Great gift ideas! Love your wrapping and bows!

IceLeopard 05-18-2018 07:31 PM

Those look like they'd be good craft bazaar items.
