Wonderful idea, going on the bucket list along with the shower curtain.

that's a great idea. Now I got a question. how do you get the great stitching in the back? I only have a regular Edna sewing machine that sews this and that. you know. but I would love to stitch fancy, but them fancy machines aren't in my price range.

Thanks for posting this project. I made a quilted bath mat this morning. It was jun to make.

Love the bathmat! I am going to make one. Thanks!

I just found some kitchen towels (solids) for $.75 at WM. I bought quite a few to make baby changing mats. Now I can use a few to make bath mats! Thanks for sharing a great idea!

Fantastic idea. I'd like to try this too.

Love this! and I just read (probably on PINTREST) that if you use caulk to lay a few Strips of caulking on the bottom then LET IT AIR DRY; it becomes non slip. can't wait to try that out

Eureka! Thanks for posting this! My DH spilled bleach on a bathmat awhile back (Yes, he cleans - can't complain!). If I borrow your idea, I'll have a bathmat that will be an upgrade from the original. I hope I didn't get rid of it because of the bleach stain. Off to look...
