Quilted Dragonfly Postcards
1 Attachment(s)
Just wanted to share a couple of quilted postcards I made recently. I did mail them, not in an envelope, the rainbow one made its way on a long journey to South Africa and the green one now resides in Ferndale, Washington!! Fun to make!

Never have tried the quilted post card yet but your making me want to now, how cute are your dragon flies.
Turned out great!
Darling! Are they done on an embroidery machine?
They are so beautiful. Did you really mail them without and envelope?? You are very trusting that they would make it.
I love them. such little beauties.
Beautiful work, I too love making post cards.
They are very pretty. lucky recipients.
Those are such keepers! It's impossible for me to even imagine the hours they took. Worthy of a blue ribbon!
How could you bear to let them "fly away"? What little jewels they are.
You purchase clear plastic sleeves that you can mail your postcards in so they don't get dirty. I do it all the time. If you don't mind that everyone can read the message it works well.
Wonderfully done!
So beautiful, job well done. Lovely!
WOW! Those look like "art" cards.....gorgeous and with a ton of work!
Wow these are awesome!
They are absolutely gorgeous! I think I wouldn't "just mail them" because I would be afraid of them getting dirty! The plastic envelope idea though sounds good. Would you like my address?
Those are really beautiful! I would feel very fortunate if I received something like that in the mail.
Super cute and well done!!!

I've put several in the mail and they all have arrived safely. Sometimes they get some post office smudges which are called post office art :^) Most everyone I know mails them naked, or not in an envelope. Use a fabric pen to write the address on.

I will work on a tutorial for these. There are many ways to make them, so I will do what works well for me!!! I wonder if we need to get permission for doing a tutorial? I guess I will need to check it out further :^)
