It is a very pretty quilt and your choice of quilting makes it great. Your first try is really good, just wiat till you get a little practice under your belt! You must keep this quilt tucked away and bring it out in a year. When you compare your first work with what you will be doing a year from now, you will be amazed! Keep on stitchin'.
peace

your feathers are fine.....just keep doing them and each time they will be better and better, then you can start embellishing them.......I remember my first feathers looked like those long grapes they used to sell, looked like fingers......I smile once in awhile when one of the feathers now does a kind of "oops".......Have fun......

You did goodI am a long armer and the best way to learn is just draw them out.Over and over and over. The brain doesn't know the difference between paper and pencil or machine and hands.Try it,it works.I have a lot of scrap paper I draw a lot of stuff out on.It took several weeks to learn Jamie Wallens feathers but now I can feather any block in any shape in no time.Try it.And post your progress. You are off to a good start.
