Its a great idea!!!!!!! could you please give out the directions? Do you just take a sweatshirt and apply the strips of material to the sweatshirt? Thanks

These are the directions as below...
1. Taking a sweatshirt apart for being the pattern. you could save a zipper that came with the sweatshirt or by a new one.
2. Peicing all the strips were prepaired.
3. Laying the right side of top quilt that was done on the table and laying the pattern on the top quilt.
4. Using Quilt Basting Spray and let it dry before quilting.
5. Quilting
6. Cutting the patterns off.
7. Asemblying - to saw a zipper on first, to put pockets, to saw shoulder and side together, to saw a hoody then sleeve
8. Binding. I used bias tape (extra wide double fold) for binding or you can make your own bias binding instead.

Love this . I wear plain old hoodies all the time . I need to snaz them up . And I bet this would keep the husband and grown boys from "borrowing" them ;)

How did you do the pockets? Oh now I see it was from a regular sweat shirt right? did you use two to get the hood and pockets?

Yes, they were form the regular sweatshirt.

No, I don't have a pattern. I used the sweatshirt for being the pattern by taking it apart as you understood....

I can see how the jacket was made from the sweatshirt, but can't figure out where the sweatshirt lining came from for the hood? Did you shorted the sweatshirt and use that for the hood? Help, can't figure it out!!

I just bought a sweatshirt with a hoody or they call hoody sweater and taking it apart.....
