I started this a while back and have been working on the blocks since my knee replacement. 9 blocks down and three more to go. This pattern is called the quilter's snowman, by Primrose lane Mama's quilts.

I would advise you to have the other knee done sooner rather than later! I had two hip replacements last summer 5 weeks apart. After the first one, I dreaded the second one, but I am so glad now. I can walk without pain for the first time in several years. I am now recovering from rotator cuff surgery, which is going well. With my left arm in a sling, I am typing this with one hand!!

Thanks so much ladies.
I had this surgery in Nov. I did three weeks of therapy and the insurance changed, now the Dr. I had to do the surgery on my knee dosn't take the new insurance and I didn't get no more therapy, the co-pays are kinda high so doing it on my own, but I'm sure not as good.

What amazing blue work quilt pieces! I am so looking forward to seeing this one finished. Also, I hope all goes well with your knee replacement.
I have been having serious back trouble for a few days and I think I will have to go to the chiropractor.

buddy'smom 03-18-2014 02:42 PM

Thank you so much. I had went to my knee Dr. for follow ups and my knee to my foot is numb and still have water trouble with my foot, so he told me to see a back Dr as well, but I really don't think this is related to my back.
