The quilt house is across the street from my house .... we live in a very small town... houses are very cheap and my dear husband who passed away 5 years ago bought it for me to quilt in cause he knew my QUILTIES would be around all the time ... he loved coming over and watching me sew .... I have remarried (2 Years ago) and my new hubby likes it being over there too cause then he dont have to put up with the Quilties ...lol ..... it gets lots of use!!!!! use .....lol .....

Thats great, happy for you gals. We have anywhere from 4 to 8 that meet in a community center for two days a month. We don't stay over night, just come for the daytime. Its fun, has a kitchen, bathroom and big tables we can push together for pinning or whatever.

What a wonderful memory you have of your sweet husband buying you the house across the street to be used for quilting in a group! It sure looks like a lot of fun being together while you "work".

What a wonderful thoughtful husband he was. I love the quilting room and isn't fun to be able to sew and have fun with all the friends. I would love that, Where did you say you lived? Need company?

what a fantastic idea! I have a separate building for my studio also. It sure keeps the main house cleaner! Of course, my quilting does still spill over into the house though. Looks like everyone is thoroughly enjoying their time.

To paraphrase an important book, "when two or more are gathered" a good quilty time will be had by all. Enjoy!
