I'm glad you like it. It's a Fons and Porter pattern, or at least is on their website. I understand there is a video to go with it, but I made it from the printed instructions. It would have been much easier if I could have purchased the Lowes bucket.

very cute. I had a friend make something similar to that for me out of a large coffee can!

No special weight. This is regular fiberglass screening found at the hardware store. Very soft and easy to work with. No special needles or tools needed to cut it - I just used the rotary cutter.

I have the pattern, Simplicity #4232, printed in 2006. Bought it on eBay. HTH
