Quilting caddy
1 Attachment(s)
I just finished this quilting/ craft caddy this morning. This one is for me as I had to dither with the pattern to make it fit the 5 qt. buckets I could buy locally. But I'm hoping to get four more made up for Christmas presents.

That is really cute! I am sure the recipient will love it!

I love it. Do you have a pattern for it?
Very nice. Glad you get to keep this one. They will make great gifts. I'd like to know the name of the pattern, too, if there is one! Thanks!

Very cute and handy!
Love the fabric you used. I have the pattern around somewhere I brought a couple of years ago. It is on my to do list. Make great caddy for grandchildren also.
Really nice, I love it!!!!
that really turned out very pretty
Fons and Porter has the pattern free on their website, at least they did. I have one someone made for me and I love it. I would never leave home to quilt without it. Another tip, I bought one of those turntables you use in your cabinet for spices and placed the bucket on it and it works perfect.

Cool Idea. here is the pdf pattern http://www.fonsandporter.com/content...ters_Caddy.pdf
What a clever idea: a great Christmas present that is actually VERY useful!
I'm glad you like it. It's a Fons and Porter pattern, or at least is on their website. I understand there is a video to go with it, but I made it from the printed instructions. It would have been much easier if I could have purchased the Lowes bucket.

Love it where did you get the pattern!
I don't understand the screen - is there a certain weight? Do you need a special needle to sew on it?
such a nice idea..!
That is beautiful and useful. Love the colors. Is that screening on the outer pockets? Is it plastic or coated metal? [email protected]

No special weight. This is regular fiberglass screening found at the hardware store. Very soft and easy to work with. No special needles or tools needed to cut it - I just used the rotary cutter. |
