Quilting Feathers
 

I am quilting feathers after taking my Craftsy Class with Angela Walters - I am so excited - I need a lot of practice but happy so far. Please ignore my thread and markings.

your feathers are really nice I have the same class and my feathers are no where near as nice as yours are you using a long arm? I was a little disappointed that she didn't use the dsm more but do like the classes

I'd say that you would make the teacher proud of your work, very nice.

I have a longarm - HQ Avante - I've had it for about 4 years but really didn't venture out of my comfort zone until I read Angela's first book and took her Craftsy class - I just like her style and how she teaches - it finally worked for me.

WOW!!! That is great!!! I took the class too but yours is much better than mine. Need more practice.

I,m with you Mandyrose. I don't have a longarm either. It left me wondering if doing it on a longarm is easier.

Your feathers are beautiful! I, too, have been practicing feathers, but have not gotten brave enough to put them in a real quilt...lol.

Look at those pretty round ends and that nice angle on those feathers. You should be so proud

They look great.. Angela Walters is going to give a lecture and have a trunk show at our LA Guild meeting this Wed. It is exciting... She is so neat. Love her classes.

you must be excited... I love feathers but for the life of me, I can't get them to work on my machine...
