Yes ma'am, grew up with Mom quilting - she's been at it well over 50 years and always hand quilted on HER mother's frame. At age 78, she purchased a computerized Gammill statler stitcher and opened a LAQ shop for the public. She had injured her shoulder a few years back and it was becoming difficult/impossible to hand quilt. She is such an inspiration. As a matter of fact, I was not even interested at in all quilting until she got her LA Machine. I can't think of many people at that point in their life that would undertake such an accomplishment! I'll ask her if it's ok if I post some of her 'personal' quilts! Thanks much.

Both are just beautiful. I am with you I would never have used that fabric and it turned out so great. Now I want to try one.

your quilts are gorgeous!

I loved your One Block Wonder quilt so much I got on the "Hold" list at the library for the book and I now have it! I can't wait to start. Thanks for sharing your lovely quilts. I love the variety of colors your OBO quilt has. Now I need to find the perfect fabric for it. I think a landscape scene like yours will work nicely. Thanks again!

Wow! I'm always amazed at how the fabric ends up looking when put into a OBW. Both quilts are awesome.
