Both of your quilts are Super! Your OBW is the best example I've seen of using a "how the heck" fabric and turning out a beautiful quilt! The surprise of it all must have been exhilarating!
Your West Texas Sunset is so gorgeous it takes my breath away! It takes a lot of color savvy to produce something like this and patience too! Your Mom did a great job on the quilting! Kudos to you both! :thumbup:

I'll chime in with the rest. These are beautiful! The fabric for the first one is just so ugly. I haven't made a OBW and don't plan to. I'd never find a piece like that in my stash - but I'm glad you did. The colors of your sunset are sensational. That is one I have drawn out on graph paper so perhaps you have given me a push in the right direction. Thanks for sharing your lovely quilts.
