These are three quilts I made in 2009

LoriJ 01-22-2010 01:14 PM

Lookin' good! I've not gathered up the courage yet to do something with lots of flying geese (they don't like me! )

dakotamaid 01-22-2010 01:14 PM

Very nice both of them, I particularly like the pink, but I'm partial to pink. My hubby is a real man, he sleeps in a pink bedroom!!! :D

Try the Jodi Barrows method. makes them much easier.

Jingle 01-22-2010 01:17 PM

Thank you, I don't know why the last is so small - it is identical to the pink one- only purple background.

Candace 01-22-2010 01:18 PM

Marjpf 01-22-2010 02:49 PM

Love them both - but the pink is incredible! Love the colors and pattern. You have inspired me.

Jingle 01-22-2010 08:15 PM

Thanks all of you. The pink and purple are Heart Baskets from Log Cabin Fever by Evelyn Sloppy. Pink made for a 4 YO Girl, purple was made for a 2 YO Girl. The other is fishing stuff made for a 16 YO Boy. I only made 8 quilts last year.

jacquemoe 01-22-2010 08:26 PM

Those are some awesome quilts but my fav is the one with the flying geese. I just love those colors. Very nice work there.

I like the pink too and my hubby doesn't mind either! :) In fact, if you asked him what color the room was he probably wouldn't know.

DazzleMe! 01-23-2010 05:05 AM

Both your quilt are beautiful! I especially like the rounded corners.

ranger 01-23-2010 05:47 AM

I like the Flying Geese one because I like FG but I love the hearts one....so soft-looking and the colors are great.

grammy Dwynn 01-23-2010 05:54 AM

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

Bevanger 01-23-2010 09:03 AM

Eddie 01-23-2010 09:05 AM

Marcia 01-23-2010 09:22 AM

Beautiful quilts---you should be smiling when you hold them up :)

Jingle 01-23-2010 04:14 PM

They went to a very good Friend's Granddaughter and and Grandson.

Celeste 01-23-2010 09:47 PM

Beautiful!

Tadpole 01-23-2010 10:42 PM

They are both just beautiful and I am not a pink person but I really like the pink one!

Love2Craft 01-24-2010 05:26 AM

what's the name of the quilt with the hearts? It's beautiful...they both are!

iamsogone 01-24-2010 05:42 AM

very nice quilts but the flying geese are one of my downfalls i have tried them on a table runner not sure i am ready for them yet lol your are lovely

Jingle 01-25-2010 09:09 AM

Thank you everyone. I almost always make rounded corners, they fit better and don't hang on the floor and much easier too.

cindyg 01-25-2010 10:28 AM

I like the heart ones but I love the flying geese quilt. It looks manly. Flying geese are easy if you use Eleanor Burns' flying geese rulers and her method.

Sharon - NC 01-25-2010 10:29 AM

Very pretty!

reneebobby 01-25-2010 10:30 AM

Wow those are really pretty.

kd124 01-26-2010 10:53 AM

All are beautiful, but I am partial to flying geese so I am really drawn to that.

Jingle 01-27-2010 07:58 PM

The name of the pink one is - Heart Baskets = in the book Log Cabin Fever by Evelyn Sloppy. Thanks all for all your wondeful words.
