Very nice! The E. Burns card trick (or winning hand) was the first quilt I ever made! And I love the bargello and the grandmothers flower garden. Those are both on my (very long) to-do list!

Grandmother's flower garden is on my list.
like the card trick, and love that you and your mum worked on something together! My mother can't see to sew anymore, so we never quilted together, but we have made cd's together, and, some with my brother. Nice to have more than one family member in on something.

Quiltncrazy - I am thankful that I am able to share this hobby with my mum. Once she moves out here permanently with us, I'll have many, many quilting days with her. We took a cathedral window by machine class together (it was my Christmas present to her) and it was a blast to have someone to share ideas, compliments & especially time with :)

I have that polka dot print in my stash and I'm not sure what I'll do with it but I really like how you used it in that last quilt. You do very nice work. There are some true artists on this site but most of us are just like you, making quilts for people we love and you are doing a great job. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for all the compliments....I'm full of confidence right now that I'm tackling a little boy's southwestern quilt and am making the applique trapunto. We'll have to see if this confidence stays with me for 9 pieces :)
