Quilts for the twins
4 Attachment(s)
My youngest DS and DDIL had twins on January 20th 2013. They were born 14 weeks early and had to stay in hospital for 4 1/2 months. In a week they will be celebrating their first birthday :) :)
Here are the quilts I made for them. The block I used is from Quilter's Cache and called Woven Ribbon. Darling quilts. Beautiful babies! Your fm quilting is really cute too. :D
Beautiful quilts and babies! Just delightful.
Love them, scrappy quilts are the best!
Beautiful, they will have fun looking at all the different blocks. Love your FMQ on them.
Lovely quilts, and so glad that the babies are doing well now.
Very cute! That pattern is on my waiting list. I love the fabric with the green eyeballs!:D
Wonderful quilts!
Very nice baby quilts! (and babies!) Great job!
You already know how wonderful I think these are!!!!!
It's so nice that you made the twins the same quilts, but kept each one unique with some different fabrics, different backings (you didn't show Bram's and it's so nice!), bindings and a different FMQ pattern for each. I love the I Spy effect they create ... and the ribbons really did weave together in the scrappy effect. It's been an honour to be part of the Flannel Brigade, following their progress all year (and before that too!!!) Here's to an exciting year as they continue to grow and get more active ........... and able to get into trouble!!!!!!!! :D:D:D |
Great quilts and a fun pattern. So glad to hear the babies continue to do well ...
Lovely quilts and so glad you and your family are doing well. That's nice to hear after your struggles last year.

Lucky little babies, they will love all the colors in these quilts! So glad to see their happy, healthy little faces!

Thank you all!
QuiltE, at the time I made these blocks I didn't think of the I Spy effect but now that they're finished it's clearly there. I'm blessed to have you and the rest of the Flannel Brigade as my friends! Here's the backing of Bram's quilt. |
