Quilty Barn Along FINISHED!!
 

My Quilty Barn Along wallhanging (5 ft square) is finally finished! Will enter it in our county fair in August. Like I was telling my son..."I spent hundreds on fabric, batting, backing, thread and oodles of quilting time on this in hopes of winning a $4 ribbon!" Satisfaction of seeing it hanging with the others?---PRICELESS :)

I really like this! I was inspired a few months back to make some blocks like this from seeing the block on the QB. I really like; how you've matched up the vertical stripes in the roof, the old time car, the 1" squares, and the pinwheels! I've got some extra 1/2 square triangles that I was wondering what to do with. This seems perfect! You just gave me a few more ideas for the inside of my barn blocks! I can see that some don't have a matching fabric in the small square above the door, and I can see that some sort of design is there, but can't make it out. If you don't mind sharing what's the decal or design in those, I'd appreciate it.

My mom wasn't a quilter but she wove the most beautiful baskets. Her basket with antler handles (shed naturally) won a blue ribbon. Just found out today that she let daddy sell it when he sold the house!!!
