Radical roosters. WIP pictures

These are so fun to do,this is my second time making a quilt with these patterns. I still have more to make , and one needs to have some pieces dyed darker so they will show up better, but this is a work in progress. BTW my scraps breed, how about yours?
As you can see picture #6 needs pieces dyed to make them show up better, any suggestions as to what color?
All I see is maybe change his feet to a lighter color on #6. I absolutely love these roosters. You are a very clever artist. Or turn the background fabric upside down. It looks lighter at the top, which would then be the bottom.ha.

Oh My GOSH! I love, love, LOVE them!!!
Very cute!
Almost anything: Greys or browns, darker greens...whatever.
I love what you have. |
I love love them. Yours are beautiful!
Silly little scraps, they do love to breed, but it is all right if the quilts turn out as lovely as yours did. :)
I absolutely love them.....

What a marvelous job with that set of chicken patterns... I love them !

Those are great, I especially like the one where the egg has little feet. Sooo cute!

I am not usually a rooster kind of girl, but LOVE these. What's the pattern?

Fabulous! Love the rooster looking at the egg.
Those are so doggoned cute. I am not a big fan of the real things, but the ones on quilts are neat!
They are all fabulous!!!! Great use of your scraps!
they are all beautiful. l really love the one peeking at the egg! i'd not seen taht one before.
i never made any myself. I "sold" two patterns to someone else since I knew I'd never get around to making them. love your fabrics! |
Those are handsome fellas. I'm not sure I'd change #6. Not every rooster needs to be 100% flashy. I bet every flock has a distinguished gentleman in the mix. But you could overdie his butt in orange or teal.
I love these and you have done such a beautiful job with them! I've looked at them online for years and have never been brave enough to try them. Just checked again and there is a hen with chicks that I just might get and finally do it!
Beautiful! Especially like the egg with feet!
I have those patterns and need to dig them out and just go for it. I love yours!!
OMG, your roosters are very pretty. I love roosters I have them in my kitchen. The colors U used are very beautiful. I wouldn't change anything. Thanks so much for sharing.

Any darker or bright colors would show up better. These are great roosters. My fave is the one with the egg.
Love your roosters! I am saving up chicken materials to make a quilt. Hope I get around to doing it.

Those are AWESOME looking roosters! Love love love them!
Your roosters are so, so very magnificient!
I have used Rit liquid dye on a sponge to dye small areas of fabric that are already attached. You do need to set the colors afterward.
Love your roosters, can't wait to see it put together.....great colors!
can you get the rooster patterns from the address you gave and how much are they?
