I had tucked this quilt away for my grandson when I made it, but he isn't really fond of trains. So I will save it for another occassion.

It's so cute! Must have been a disappointment that he doesn't love the train. :( I made a train quillo for my grandson when he was about 5. He just turned 17 and still sleeps with that tattered train blanket...just doesn't want to give it up..."can't you 'fix' it?" LOL

I just love your quilt. Is it your own design? If it was a pattern what was the name? My husband model railroads and I would love to make one of those for our grand-daughter when she gets older and plays with grandpa and his trains.

Oh wow! This is not what I expected when I read railroad quilt. This is incrediblly nice.

My g-son will be 18 in April. He ask for a new Thomas the Train pillow case. His pillowcase from 4years old has finally worn out. His quilt has Thomas fabric. He also still has Godzilla and all the other pillow cases from I had made for himwhile he was a little boy. He is now over 6'
He goes off to college next fall. Waiting to see what he takes with him to college
