Rain rain rain
 

During our exceptional rainy weather this week, I got to settle down and quilt! Pretty basic, but I did use a different fabric on the back. It seems it's a cross between fleece and wanna be minki! Oh well,,, one more piece of yardage is used up and not sitting on my shelf! Yeah for that!

Wow! That's really a precious quilt! I haven't reached that level, and have doubts that I ever will! I did a Sunbonnet Sue applique quilt that really turned out nice -- I hand quilted it (it was my first one and took me 5 months to quilt because I was still working full time and taking care of house, son and DH! The time can get away from you in a hurry!
