Random Ohio Stars

5 Attachment(s)
I made this from a free Bonnie Hunter (found on her blog) pattern. I began because I wanted to work on hourglass (QSTs) blocks, but it was so fun, that I made the whole quilt. I put my test blocks and some I didn't feel had enough contrast on the back.

I like those sort of old-fashioned looking quilts. Looks cozy - good enough to use!

Really nice mixture of fabrics and size of the blocks.

I just love stars! This quilt is wonderful. I don't usually l like super scrappy, but this one is an exception :-)

Very nicely done. Looks like a fun pattern to go scrappy with. I like what you did with the backing.

Using the different size stars and putting in plain blocks has certainly made an interesting quilt. Nice work - well done.

Wonderful scrappy. This block is perfect for using real scraps, even if your not using scraps.

From scrappy to happy!

Very colorful & pretty quilt! I love your backing & those stars look like they're just hanging there so not much contrast worked out perfect.

oksewglad 11-06-2015 04:45 PM

Nicely done....now this makes me want to make this quilt...Thanks for sharing...

hoprigmom 11-06-2015 05:12 PM

Really enjoyed looking at your quilt. I liked the contrast of using the darker colors for the background of the smaller Ohio stars. Your quilt is an inspiration as I took a class in Ohio stars in September. Thanks for posting.
