I think the sashing would be best. The straight scrappy looks jumbled up and with the blocks between they're too spread out. Try the sashing. I think you'll be happier.

I like the solids between the scrappy blocks. It's going to be beautiful any way you do it.

I think it needs lattice or solid blocks between the scrappies.

WOW, it's a tough call. I didn't think I'd care for the solids as I'm a scrappy gal. But I really do like that look.
I'm thinking tho, that a small scrap square in the center of the solid with the rest solid around it might break it up just enough. Like perhaps a 2" square of scrap in the center of each solid block? |

Thank you. Some of them are like I said...makes you want to throw up...but I love them and when you stick them together I find them irresistible.

Also for the alternating block you could use a square in a square....just a thought....
Love the scrappy...think the solid alternating block too much of a difference. |
