Very wonderful quilt! Since hubby likes it so much, maybe he would treat you to a spa day for relaxation!

its heavy to unfold.. BUT hubby LOVES LOVES the weight... he likes weighted quilts...

18 across 22 down

I am just starting my denim 6 " rounds - Cathedral window quilt from my late hubby's jeans. I had contemplated using lightweight flannel square in the middle, but now I don't know about the weight when finished. In your opinion, will that be too heavy?

Sorry about the loss of your in-laws so close together. I think the quilt is a loving tribute to them. I've used my quilting many times to deal with death of family members and it always helps.

well the user of the quilt has to like weighted quilts... It is very very heavy but my darling likes them that way... I cant handle the weight, i feel like im being smothered.. i was contemplating on flannel.. if i ever make a nother one, and dont know if i ever will, it will be with flannel..
