Brilliant!!!!

That is one of the first quilts I saw when I found this site. I printed the picture out and wrote on it "One day I will make this piece of art myself" I am not ready to tackle anything close to it yet but it is my goal. I look at the picture all the time and strive to sharpen my skills. You have done a beautiful job!

Beautiful. I'm going to do her Glacier Star in January. Love Love Love it

I just bought the paper foundations for this quilt! I decided to splurge on one of her pattern sets. Yours is lovely.
|
Your quilt is awesome!! I love the colors! Can someone please tell me what the deal is with these Y seams. I saw one pattern that was bragging that it didn't have any...is that a good thing??
|
It is stunning! Fabulous color choices!
|
Simply gorgeous! You did a wonderful job on it and deserve a little break.
|
It is beautiful

Roxanne...........It just gorgeous!! You are so brave to try such a complicated pattern like this one. I admire you & your work. I can't wait to see more pic's when you are finished!!

That is jawdroppingly beautiful. I'm with Sulabug - you are fearless. I've spent lots of time looking at Judy Neimeyer's patterns, but never been brave enough to try and do one.
|
Love it!
|
Absolutely stunning..............I would wait for it.

This is a paper pieced pattern by Judy Neimeyer called Hawaiian Star. The colors are more brilliant than the photo and I am pretty happy with it even though I must work on the skills to do Y seams better. Roxanne |
It is absolutely gorgeous. Too bad you can't get it done. I'll bet you could!!! Go for it.
|
BE-U-T-FULL. Love the colors.

Beautiful! The colours are stunning and apparently even more in the flesh? WOW!

Beautiful, I have issues with Y Seams myself there has to be a Simpler way.
|
This is a beautiful quilt. And I, too, am glad you relaxed with a cup of coffee. You will get more done later. Enjoy the holidays.

I love it and Judy Niemeyer patterns are amazingly beautiful, but lots of work! I am amazed every time I see one finished.
You deserve a large pat on the back for finishing it! |
Looks wonderful to me, great job, don't rush the quilting, I think waiting till after xmas is a very wise idea. Then you can take your time & enjoy the process! Can't wait to see it all quilted & finished!...
|
Fantastic!

Thats beautifal. Your talented. I love the fabrics.

Beautiful quilt top!
|
Wow, love this!
|
Fabulous!! I am excited to see it finished! I love her patterns. Have you seen the new Glacier Star one coming out next month? It's about 60", so a bit smaller.

Gorgeous top...I learned a lot about Y seams when I made a large Bethlehem Star quilt earlier this month. When I finished it, I felt fairly competent at that skill. Don't worry...it gets easier. Try several different methods of doing it...there is more than 1 way...and you'll find one that works for you.
I love your quilt!!! :-) |
Very beautiful
|
That is fabulous. You are a great quilter to attempt something like this. Great job. Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas
