I actually made the 10 minute block in just 10 minutes! I was very please and I am so addicted! I firgue I will make at least one block done per day! I think this will be the quilt that my dear hubby asked for. A King size! Such nice large blocks. This is so awesome! Wow! What a scrappy!

I like them....I did some with charm squares and it gets a little tricky putting the center in with getting pleats

I agree with you. It can be done in 10 minutes. It is the cutting, and finishing that takes a little longer. I did one in batiks and just loved it. I made the overall block small, so the center block was more dominant. Love the looks of your quilt, and it will be great finished. Be sure to post the finished quilt. The basic pattern can be found on several youtube videos. I liked the one from Missouri Quilts.

I have never heard of the 10 min block. all the blocks I do are 1hr or more blocks.

This is a fun pattern. I remember my first 10 minute block too me nearly 2 hours. I was having a rough day that day.

Yea, these are fun and easy to make! I made some with all christmas prints with white for the center, made 12 of them and gave them to a quilty friend for christmas!

I have both of the books but haven't tried doing them yet. What size squares did you start out with? I like the proportions of your blocks! Great job on hitting the 10 minute wall!!! woohooo for youuuuu!!!!
