How did she manage to have that much fun with it???
|
That to me is the best thank you there is! That just shows how much she loves that quilt! You should be proud.
Suggestion, make the next quilt with pieces from this quilt...IF your grand daughter will allow you to take it away from her to cut it apart! lol! TreeFrog |
Looks like a very loved quilt. I have a 46 year old son who still has his quilt (in really bad shape) that my mom made for him when he was about 8. I couldn't believe he still had it, but he said that it reminded him of grandma and didn't want to throw it away.

Oh my gosh, that quilt has been loved, hope she has a new one coming if not already.

Makes a great pancho now. lol.

Gee, I think that girl needs a new quilt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
Oh my!!! You can't replace the love of that quilt. You will just have to incorporate what you can of it into another. What a pretty grandaughter you have waiting for more love quilt

Looks like you could give parts of it new life. I say looks because I can't see how worn the big blocks and some of the sashing really are. My boys usually stop using the quilt when it starts showing wear. She has really loved that quilt.

I think she "loved the quilt to death"! And that's the way it should be with our grandchildren. When I made my granddaughter her first at 7 YO, I told her and her mom it was to be used, not put away on a shelf. She sleeps under it every night.

Beautiful GD and she certainly has loved her quilt to pieces lol. Time to make a new one :-)
