Now where is that quilt police who posted a thread about quilts that were not taken care of. :lol: I can see that this quilt was very much loved (and by the smile, I can tell it is still well loved). I would be tempted to cut away all of the usable parts and incorporating those parts into a new quilt. Thanks for sharing.

Maybe a vest would be a good idea...that way she would always be wrapped in Grandma's LOVE!

A well loved quilt. Doesn't look like she is ready to give it up. My DD made me a small wall hanging out of this fabric. That was about 15 years ago.

I think she needs a new one, and take the old one and rescue what you can and frame it for her.

Now that is a quilt you would love to see years later knowing that it was loved. Time for a new one. Ask her to help. You could have a young quilter at your side.
