I tear the shirts apart like Bonnie Hunter also. I also buy 100 % cotton sheets for backing for quilts. I'm cheap and am having a hard time spending all that money on a yard of fabric. Making a quilt can really run into money these days. If you only make one quilt now and then, buying the fabrics wouldn't be so bad but when you have an addiction like I do, well..... I used one this week for the backing of a wall hanging I am doing... |
